About the course
Systems thinking is the ability to view phenomena and problems as a whole made up of interconnected elements, and to understand the links between them, their feedback loops and their long-term consequences. It helps you see recurring patterns rather than isolated incidents, identify the root causes of a problem and anticipate how a single change will affect the whole system, avoiding short-term, superficial fixes. During the course, participants will learn the key concepts and tools of systems thinking (for example, causal loops, the “iceberg” model and leverage points), learn to map complex situations, and develop the skills to take a holistic, far-sighted approach to problems at work and in everyday life.
