About the course
Mentoring is a long-term process in which an experienced person uses their knowledge, experience and support to foster the professional and personal development of someone less experienced. It helps clarify development goals, discover one’s own strengths and opportunities for growth, overcome challenges, broaden professional networks and outlook, and take more confident steps in one’s career. During the course, participants will learn about the core models and tools of mentoring (for example, the GROW model, questioning and active listening techniques, giving feedback and the development plan). They will learn to build a trusting mentor-mentee relationship, set shared goals and offer support without imposing ready-made solutions, and they will develop the skills of guiding, inspiring and fostering other people’s growth in both workplace and everyday situations.
