About the course
Structured problem solving is the ability to analyse complex problems with clear steps and a systematic approach, and to find effective solutions. It helps you define the problem correctly, identify its root causes, propose several alternative solutions, evaluate them against criteria and choose the best one, avoiding random or hasty decisions. During the course, participants will become familiar with the key problem-solving methods and tools (for example, the “5 Whys”, the cause-and-effect diagram and the decision matrix), will learn to apply them in practical situations, and will develop the skills to think systematically and act with a focus on results.
